God challenges in Malachi 3:10 “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it”. God says “try me” once and we serve a God who is not a liar.

We plead that the Holy Spirit will talk to your hearts…Let his Kingdom come and Let his will be done. Amen. We would like you to take a few minutes of your time and read this poem by W. H. Davies.

This life is sweetest; in this wood
I hear no children cry for food;
I see no woman, white with care;
No man, with muscled wasting here.

No doubt it is a selfish thing
To fly from human suffering;
No doubt he is a selfish man,
Who shuns poor creatures, sad and wan.

But ’tis a wretched life to face
Hunger in almost every place;
Cursed with a hand that’s empty, when
The heart is full to help all men.

Can I admire the statue great,
When living men starve at its feet!
Can I admire the park’s green tree,
A roof for homeless misery!
