JOSHUA GENERATION

JUDE-1:22 – “And of some have compassion, making a difference:”

Making a difference in people’s lives is the vision that God has laid in the heart of The United Pentecostal Church in Ayanavaram. This is a difference in spiritual lives, in the way of worship, in building a unique relationship with God, and in operating in the gifts of the spirit. This difference is almost palpable in every service and this vision is slowly translating to the other churches in the city. Joshua Generation is an event where we make the vision known to the other youth from the city. This event is dear in God’s Calendar, and God chose to use International Evangelist, David Bryan as his vessel of Honor. We knew Bro. Bryan only as a servant of God, but he brought the services alive with the Spoken Word and with powerful manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Every  year, he has become a good friend, a close associate in partnering our vision and a man of God we will turn to when we feel the battle the we are fighting is arduous. Bro. Bryan has prophesied that Joshua Generation would be a landmark event for youth from the Asian Region and we have already started working on that prophesy. We praise God for Bro. Bryan and his ministering spirit and his vision towards Joshua Generation….

The revival in every church is birthed by the youth. Like it says in the book of Ecclesiastes, to think of Your Creator in your Youth… we at the United Pentecostal Church, Chennai wanted our youth to be encouraged and motivated by the Word of God, peculiar only to them. We are privileged and humbled by the fact that God has chosen our church to truly be the light and salt to this world.

“LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD”
Praise is a garment that the church at Ayanvaram loves to wear. When we praise, we feel all liberty, we worship in spirit and in truth like the Apostle Paul said. We sing, we make a joyful noise unto the Lord, we triumph at the victories that we have in Christ Jesus and we dance in his presence like David. We carry the worshiping spirit of David very close to our heart. We know that anything can happen when we worship with the exuberance of an apostolic Pentecostal. Though this has come under the criticizing eye of many, we pray for this sector of people with spirit of Micah, but we want to impact the churches come to us with the wonderful Weapon of Worship and Praise to the Highest. He is worthy of all praise!!. It was this that took over the Joshua Generation and we know for sure that He came and abided in our praises…

We are privileged and humbled by the fact that God has chosen our church to truly be the light and salt to this world. The idea of taking Joshua Generation across to the other cities in Tamil Nadu was hit upon and we acted upon the word from the Lord. We decided to invite youth from Adur, Kerala, Bondinaikkanur, Periakulam, and Pattabiram Chruches. We knew that since this thing proceeded form the Lord, we were sure that He would be Jehovah Jireh to us in every aspect….
